Steps to Using Skype

Step 1 

Click here to ‘Get started’.

Step 2

Create a new account or sign in via Facebook. Once you have filled in your details, select the option to download ‘Skype for windows’, or if you are using another device, click on ‘Other Devices’. Once you have ‘selected’ the device, your computer will download the software automatically.

Step 3 

When the download is complete, double-click on the ‘setup file’ icon. Run the SkypeSetup.exe file. The Skype setup wizard will appear and guide you through the rest of the installation process.

Step 4 

After the installation is complete, you can open and use Skype at any time. To open Skype, double-click the Skype icon on your desktop or in the Start menu.

Step 5

Once Skype is open, type in your name and a password. Follow the instructions from there and click ‘Sign in’.

Step 6

The next step is to add kerry.glister.uk to your contact list. To do this, click on ‘Add’ in the main Skype window and enter ‘kerry.glister.uk’, which is our Skype name. Click on How to Add Contacts for more information.

Step 7 

When your appointment is due, click on glistercounselling and then click on the green ‘call’ button and the green ‘video call’ button. Your call will then be answered by your counsellor. Click on Calling Someone on Skype for more information. Using a dedicated headset can ensure privacy and improve call quality.
